Shodex Size Exclusion Columns for Polymers Chromatography with Organic Solvents
Size Exclusion Chromatography (SEC), also known as Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), is a technique used for separating and analyzing macromolecules based on their size.
In SEC, a sample is passed through a column filled with porous beads. Larger molecules elute faster because they can't penetrate the pores, while smaller ones spend more time inside the beads.
Shodex offers a variety of organic GPC columns for SEC with organic solvents like THF or DMF.
