LeanCat Testing Hardware
Precision test hardware for PEM and AEM fuel-cell and electrolyser R&D — now distributed in Israel by BioAnalytics.
What is LeanCat testing hardware?
LeanCat AirCells and laboratory electrolyzer hardware let researchers run quick, reproducible single- and multi-cell measurements on PEM and AEM fuel cells and electrolysers. Air-pressed compression gives a fully controlled, uniform tightening force, while the stack and cell hardware support high-pressure (up to 50 bar) and high-temperature (up to 180 °C) testing in a robust, clean design. BioAnalytics supplies and supports the full LeanCat test-hardware range in Israel.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the AirCell and AirCell-HT?
Both are air-pressed single-cell test fixtures. The AirCell is for low-temperature PEM work (up to 80 °C, 4.8–50 cm²); the AirCell-HT is for high-temperature work (up to 200 °C, 4.8 cm²).
When should I choose the stack vs the single cell?
Use the Laboratory Electrolyzer Cell for single-cell MEA and porous-layer testing (5 cm²); use the Laboratory Electrolyzer Stack to test up to 5 cells at once (25 cm²). Both handle PEM/AEM up to 50 bar and 180 °C.
Does BioAnalytics provide local support?
Yes — as the Israel distributor, BioAnalytics provides quotes, application support and service for the LeanCat test-hardware range.
